Weekend Schedule

Friday October 18

6:00 - 8:00 pm Welcome Event - June Lake Community Center:
Food and drinks will be served with an introduction into the weekend's activities and a guest speaker.

Saturday October 19

7:00 am - 7:00 pm -- Free Shuttle - 10 stops tbd:
Hop on, hop off style bus with stops throughout the Loop for your color viewing pleasure.

8:00 am - 10:00 am -- Photography Hike - Location tbd:
Take a hike! Guided by JLB's Sarah Walsh with photography hints and tips from local photographer Michael Allen White. Free activity.

10:00 am - 11:30 am -- Printmaking - June Lake Community Center:
Join local artist, Melissa Mitchell, for a relaxing morning of autumn themed printmaking. $25 covers your supplies and you'll have a handmade souvenir to take home.

10:45 am - 1:00 pm -- Group Road Bike - Gull Lake Park:
Join Eastside Velo for a celebration of the beautiful fall colors with a road bike ride in the Loop! Meet at 10:45 am at Gull Lake Park tennis court area and we will depart at 11 am. Route will be out to the corner of HWY 395 and return. This is approximately a 25 mile route and the pace will be casual and the group will stay together. Plan for around a two hour jaunt! Lunch
Grab a fall themed bite at one of the various restaurants throughout the Loop!

12:45 pm - 2:45 pm -- Paint Demo - location tbd:
Local artist, Randall Smith, will conduct a painting demo at one of the scenic shuttle stops. Do you paint? Bring your supplies and setup with Randy, for tips and tricks on painting outdoor scenes. Or just stop by to have a look and a listen. Free activity.

3:00 pm - 6:00 pm -- Scenic Chair Rides - June Mountain:
June Mountain will run their J1 chair lift, from the parking lot to the chalet, so you can get the best views, from above, of the fall colors in the Loop. Go up and down anytime between 3pm and 5pm for $10/adults and $5/children.

7:00 pm -- Displays and Awards Reception - June Lake Community Center:
Come wrap up and wind down with food, drinks, prizes and displays from throughout the day.
 

Sunday October 20

Breakfast

10:00 am - Noon -- Historical Walk - June Lake Village:
Before you head out, meet up with the June Lake Historical Society and some long time locals to walk through town and learn more about the rich history of the June Lake Loop. $5 donation appreciated.
